Iwamizawa City
Iwamizawa Switchyard Ruins
Construction of the cargo car facility began in 1922 and was completed in 1926. It is the central hub for the Hakodate Main Line, Muroran Main Line, Horonai Line, and Manji Line, used to transport coal to the ports of Otaru and Muroran, as well as supplies to various regions such as Ishikari, Tokachi, and Kitami.
