Yubari City
Former Hokutan Yubari Coal Mine Model Shaft (Yubari Coal Mine Museum)
A portion of the supplementary shaft from Tenryu coal shaft was utilized as a display in 1939. The facility is a rarity even in Japan, offering tours underground to view actual coal seams and machinery used to excavate the coal. (*Currently closed to the public)
