Former Hokutan Shimizusawa Hydroelectric Power Plant
Similar to the Takinoue Hydroelectric Plant, the Shimizusawa Hydroelectric plant was built and began operations in 1940 to supply energy to the coal mine. (Only the exterior of the facility is viewable.)
